Wellness dictionary

Little ABC for your spa-break questions ...

In their treatment discriptions, wellness hotels often use technical terms, which are hard to understand for potential guests. We have therefore collected and defined the most relevant terms in our small wellness ABC. A tip: Our wellness dictionary also supports word requests. You don't need to know the exact wording.

Aromatic Sea Salt Treatment

An aromatic sea salt treatment

can purify and detoxify the body. It is applied to the body during a massage. The salt used is extracted from the sea in so-called salt gardens. Here, the seawater on the coasts of various southern European countries is collected in artificially created pools. The wind and the sun ensure that the water evaporates. What is left is the sea salt. The sea salt is enriched with selected aromatic oils that are obtained from plants. The combination of sea salt and aromatic oils as well as the pleasant smell of the oils not only lead to a deep relaxation, but also contribute to the desired detoxification of the body.
