Snow-treading

Snow treading - a Kneipp cure treatment

A type of the Kneipp Cure. It is about walking with bare feet through the snow. One of the most important aspects here is that rolled up pants should not hinder the blood circulation of the legs. While walking in the snow, only one foot at the time should be in the snow while the other one is liftet above the ground, so the sole is aired. Repeat until you notic a light redness or until your calf starts slightly to hurt. In any case, you should not walk longer than 5 minutes through the snow. After, put on some warm wool socks and shoes and go on a walk for about half an hour. An alternative to walking in the snow is walking in dew.
