Wellness at the hotel has stood for many years for a unique success story. Sensual experiences, a place where individual wishes become reality, new challenges and holistic approaches to lifestyle, all this is what our guests are so enthusiastic about.

The Wellness-Hotels & Resorts (WH-R) co-operative affiliation has been the first address in this fascinating sector since 1997. Our affiliate houses offer emotive and literally more than skin-deep wellness packages as a distinctly moreish experience.

And, with the maintaining of physical and mental health an ever-increasing priority in our society, this puts us right in the vanguard of trends.

Statistics with PIWIK

Privacy policy for customers regarding web tracking
We, Wellness-Hotels & Resorts GmbH, take the protection of your personal data very seriously and strictly comply with the rules of data protection laws. Some data collected when you visit this website will be used for statistical analysis. The following describes the extent to which data is collected. The data is passed on exclusively to our statistics service provider, Webtrekk GmbH.

Wellness-Hotels & Resorts GmbH uses the services of Webtrekk GmbH to collect statistical data on the use of our web services and to optimise our services accordingly. Webtrekk GmbH is certified by the German technical inspection agency TÜV Saarland for data protection in web controlling software. The certification process includes an on-site audit at Webtrekk in Berlin and at the hosting location, where the collection and processing of tracking data are checked for compliance with data protection provisions and data security.

Data collected for web tracking
When you visit our website, a number of pieces of information are transmitted by your browser and collected and analysed for the purposes of our web controlling. Collection is carried out through a pixel which is integrated on each website. The following data is collected:

  • Request (name of the requested file)
  • Browser type/ version (e.g. Internet Explorer 9.0)
  • Browser language (e.g. English)
  • Operating system used (e.g. Windows XP)
  • Internal resolution of the browser window
  • Screen resolution
  • Java script activation
  • Java on/off
  • Cookies on/off
  • Colour depth
  • Referring URL (the last page you visited)
  • IP address – this is immediately anonymised and deleted after processing
  • Access time
  • Clicks
  • Order value (if applicable)
  • Form content (if applicable) (for free text fields, only the information “completed” or “blank” will be transmitted)

IP address
The IP address is transmitted with every request to the server so that the server knows where to send the reply. Anybody who connects to the Internet receives an IP address from the Internet service provider (ISP), and the ISP registers the identity of the customer and the time of assignment of each IP address. As long as the IP address is stored, the identity of the connection owner may, theoretically, be traced via the ISP. For this reason, we and our statistics service provider only store the IP address in a shortened (anonymised) form and only use it for session recognition, to determine geological location (to city level) and to prevent attacks. The IP address is then immediately deleted, so that the collected data is then anonymous and may no longer be assigned to the identity of the user, even via the ISP.
