The Albrecht family greets its guests with a warm welcome at the Krumers Post Hotel & Spa in Seefeld. The guests’ wellbeing has been the owners’ priority for many generations. They have created a spacious hideaway, combining tradition with modernity.
The hotel is ideally located in the centre of the town whilst guests are still able to appreciate this spacious place of tranquillity and relaxation. The closeness to nature is reflected in all areas of the hotel.
The 2,200 m² Natural Spa has a modern, cosy atmosphere and is designed using regional Swiss pine and natural stone. From the panoramic pool, relaxation areas or the large 360° roof top terrace, grown-up guests are treated to views over the Tyrolean Mountains. As well as relaxing and indulging spa treatments, which use regional, natural ingredients, the wellness hotel in Tyrol also has various indoor and outdoor activities on offer.
A combination of traditional and modern elements in typical alpine style is not only reflected in the spa but also in the culinary elements of the hotel. Guests are treated to classic Tyrolean creations as well as light and modern culinary compositions. The Krumers restaurant, the Löffelstube, the wine cellar as well as the Platzhirsch café and the Tyrolean fireplace in the spa all offer a choice for guests to relax away the hours.
The Olympic region around Seefeld can be enjoyed in summer and winter and appeals to both nature lovers and sports’ fans, with its wide variety of leisure facilities like walking, skiing, snowboarding and cycling in unspoilt natural surroundings.
The 2,500 m² Natural Spa expands over four floors and is designed using regional Swiss pine and natural stone, combining traditional and modern elements, giving a cosy atmosphere. Here adults (from 16 years) can experience a calm, relaxed atmosphere whilst enjoying the breath-taking view over the Tyrolean Mountains. A panoramic indoor pool, various saunas, the beauty and massage centre, as well as spacious relaxation areas, offer the perfect place to unwind. The large roof-top terrace in the spa is a focal point where guests can breathe in the fresh air after a sauna or relax on the sunbeds taking in the 360° view over Seefeld, the Karwendel and Wetterstein mountain range as well as the Stubai Alps. When the weather is not so good, or in the evening, the perfect place to relax is by the crackling Tyrolean fireplace. The wellness lounge provides daily refreshments like fresh fruit, healthy snacks, spring water, juices and teas.
The wellness hotel’s beauty and massage centre offers facial treatments for both men and women, body treatments using natural essences and massages. In addition to classic massages and massages using aromatherapy candles, honey, hot stones or herbal stamps, there is the Krumers wellness massage. This gentle massage is carried out on the whole body, including the head, face and feet, and is one of the Tyrolean hotel´s signature treatments. It is carried out using stroking movements to music and aims to relax the body, mind and spirit.
Couple time can be enjoyed with the signature treatment ‘Die Kraft der Zirbe’, which means the power of Swiss pine. Swiss pine can be applied as an exfoliation, as oil during a full body massage or as a warming Swiss pine cushion during a body wrap. The spa also offers permanent make up, manicure and pedicure.
The Olympic region around Seefeld and the Krumers Post Hotel & Spa has various leisure activities on offer during summer and winter. In the colder months, Tyrol has a wide choice of activities for winter sports’ lovers. Various cross-country ski trails including a night-time trail, a dog trail and a special cross-country ski trail with a sledge as well as biathlon are available. Skiing and snowboarding fans have a total of 40 kilometres of ski runs to choose from in the Seefeld Rosshütte and Gschwandtkopf areas and is suitable for both beginners and advanced skiers. Those who prefer sledging can find various toboggan runs around Seefeld as well as a snow tubing track. Guests of all ages can take the lift to the top and then sledge down on large rubber rings on extra wide runways into the valley. The ice skating rink is only five minutes from the wellness hotel and includes a curling track. Last but not least, snowshoe walks in the Tyrolean Alps are an impressive adventure for nature lovers.
A variety of running and walking tracks invite you to explore the region during the summer. Those looking for a bigger challenge can do a climbing tour. The Karwendel Alps Park is the largest natural park in Austria and the Wetterstein Mountains offer various options. The Isar spring, the Wildmoos Lake or the Seefeld Wildsee, which has a public bathing beach, are great places to cool the feet down after all that walking! The Krumers Post Hotel & Spa organises guided walks or guests can just explore the Tyrolean Mountains with maps provided by the wellness hotel. Running or Nordic walking tracks are well sign-posted with the ‘Laufland Tirol’ guide system, which not only helps you stay on the track but it also gives information on difficulty levels.
Cycling enthusiasts can find marked cycling and mountain bike trails in Seefeld. Many chalets offer to change the battery for e-bike users free of charge. Lots of fun and action is promised with a roller skiing circuit, which includes modern biathlon facilities. The combination of cross-country skiing and roller skating using sticks allows you to move around the arena during the summer or enrol on a biathlon course.
‘Intuitive – authentic – down-to-earth with lots of passion’ - that is how the Albrecht family describes the wellness hotel´s cuisine. Chef Ronny Kirste and his team use fresh, seasonal and mostly regional products to create delicious food by combining traditional Tyrolean meals with light, modern recipes. Full board guests can enjoy an excellent buffet breakfast, a sweet or savoury afternoon snack in the Löffelstube and treat themselves to a 5-course dinner in the evening. A variety of vegetarian, allergy friendly and low calorie meals are also available.
The Platzhirsch Café & Bistro
The Platzhirsch café & bistro is directly connected to the wellness hotel and tempts guests with their homemade cakes, small snacks and their local and international à la carte dishes. The terrace, which is directly located on the Seefeld village square, has views over the surrounding mountains and is very popular in good weather.
Krumers wine cellar & wine bar
Guests can enjoy an aperitif or a digestif in the Krumers wine cellar & wine bar where regular wine tasting events also take place. The wellness hotel’s extensive wine list, which mainly focuses on high quality Austrian and Italian wines, completes the perfect meal.

In case of cancellation of a booking prior to travel, early departure or for any reason that is not listed (see Introduction) without a cancellation insurance, the following fees must be paid (jurisdiction Innsbruck / Tirol / Austria):
• up to 3 weeks prior to arrival –free of charge
• up to 1 week before arrival - 70% of the booked stay
• within the last week prior to arrival - 90% of the booked stay
• Christmas and New Year: up to 3 weeks prior to arrival –free of charge, after 100% of the booked stay

In unforeseeable circumstances, you might like to apply for cancellation insurance for our hotel to following conditions:
An Insurance coverage is provided if a reason listed below occurs and causes an inability to travel, for example, a serious accident or illness of the insured person, his spouse, children, parents, in-laws, death of a given group of people or siblings, grandparents, grandchildren, children of the insured persons will prevent the commencement or continuation of the journey.
Sudden, unpredictable severe pregnancy symptoms, vaccination intolerance, an unexpected recurrence or worsening of a chronic illness or serious damage to property of the insured at his residence due to fire, acts, or criminal act of a third party, making his presence absolutely necessary.

Our wellness hotel is located in the Olympic region of Seefeld in Austrian Tyrol. Positioned on a plateau between the Wetterstein Mountains and Karwendel and 1,200 metres above the Adria, the Krumers Post Hotel & Spa is an ideal base for taking part in alpine activities in the area. Innsbruck is only 20 kilometres from the hotel and the German border is only 10 kilometres away.Arrival at the airport
Innsbruck Airport: Taxi to Seefeld (approx. 20 minutes/ price approx. 50€)
Munich Airport: Taxi to Seefeld (approx. 2 hours / price approx. 250€)
Train - including the Bayern ticket to Seefeld (approx. 3 hours / price for 1-2 persons approx. 35€)
The on-site free car park can be found directly behind the hotel and is well sign posted. Once you reach Seefeld, follow the signs to Seefeld station and take the road south. The hotel’s car park can be found immediately after the sharp right hand bend.
Go through the Arlberg tunnel towards Innsbruck, exit the motorway at Telfs Ost and follow signs for Seefeld
The quickest route is to use the A99 from Munich to Garmisch. Then take the Bundesstrasse towards Mittenwald and follow the road towards Innsbruck. Exit the Bundesstrasse at Seefeld Mitte and follow signs for Seefeld station
Take the Brenner Pass towards Innsbruck. When the motorway divides, follow the signs for Innsbruck Süd and take the motorway towards Bregenz. Exit at Zirl Ost and follow the signs for Seefeld.
Take the train via Arlberg to Innsbruck. Take the S-Bahn towards Seefeld in Tyrol
Trains run 5 times daily from Zurich and take approximately 4.5 hours with ÖBB Railjet
