The wellness hotel ambassador Hotel & Spa is located at the North Sea in St. Peter-Ording and offers its guests a great view of the North Sea surf, salt marshes and wide sandy beaches. The house is situated directly on one of the wide salt marshes, which are under nature protection. Over a wooden footbridge one reaches the sea. Here, on the beach of the North Sea, you can take endless walks in the healthy, aerosol-rich and allergen-free air.
In the wellness hotel, clear, fresh colours and tastefully unobtrusive design characterise the rooms. The view of the sea accompanies the guests all the way to the Ambassador's wellness area: Here you can enjoy it in the treatment rooms of the cosmetics & wellness area as well as in the outdoor whirlpools of the Spa Terrace. Guests of the hotel can take part in the numerous free Well-Fit courses, including Nordic Walking, Aquafitness, Pilates or Yoga and Qi Gong. Dog owners will be pleased that the hotel is extremely animal-friendly - this promises relaxing wellness holidays for people and animals.
Outside the hotel, holidaymakers can admire buildings typical of the North Sea, such as lighthouses, bakehouses and Haubarge, while taking long walks on the beach to relax and unwind, or gain new impressions on my day trip to Helgoland or Sylt.
The modern 1,200m² Auramaris spa and wellness area doesn’t just offer superb relaxation when the weather is miserable. Located over two levels, the hotel offers a cosmetic and wellness area with a pool and saunas as well as a roof top terrace with sea view whirl pools.

The Sandcafé is located directly on the promenade, which leads across a wooden bridge to the sea. Light dishes and cake from the in-house patisserie can be enjoyed with a sea view. Guests can also watch the sunset whilst having a glass of wine or a cocktail. Those who enjoy a digestif accompanied by live piano music might become a frequent guest in the hotel’s lounge.

Location and Directions
Our wellness hotel is located
in Schleswig-Holstein, in North Friesland, very close to St. Peter-Ording right on the North Sea coast and surrounded by salt marshes. North Friesland has small, quaint places, old fisherman harbours, luscious meadows and an almost unending wide horizon. This is where you can recuperate listening to the surf and with a view of the sea. The beach on which the Ambassador Hotel borders is extraordinarily wide with up to two kilometres and it is more than twelve kilometres long. The many naturally grown salt marshes are ecologically valuable, and characterize the transition from beach to the sea in this section of the North Sea: They are home for numerous rare types of small animals.
