The Romantik® Hotel Das Schiff is located in Hittisau in the Bregenzerwald region of Vorarlberg, Austria. Its quiet setting in the heart of the Alps offers expansive views of mountains, meadows, and forests. The hotel is a family-run traditional property with a long history, combining rural charm with upscale comfort.
Arrival with car
The easiest way to reach the Romantik Hotel Das Schiff is via the A96 highway toward Lindau. From there, continue via Bregenz into the Bregenzerwald region to Hittisau. The hotel is centrally located in the village and well signposted; for navigation, enter “Heideggen 311, 6952 Hittisau.” Travel time from Stuttgart or Munich is approximately 2.5 to 3 hours.
Arrival with train
For travel by air, the nearest airports are Friedrichshafen, Memmingen, Zurich, and Munich. From there, you can continue your journey comfortably by train or rental car.
From Friedrichshafen or Memmingen, you can reach Hittisau in about 1.5 to 2 hours by car. From Zurich or Munich, the journey takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train to Bregenz or Dornbirn and continue from there by regional bus to Hittisau, as the village does not have its own train station.
