Romantik® Hotel Turm

Hotel description

At the foot of the Schlern, in the heart of the village of Völs, the Romantik® Hotel Turm | PEARLS by Romantik® combines history, art, wellness, and fine dining in a truly unique way. Several medieval towers dating back to the 13th century form the architectural core of this place, which today ranks among the most distinctive hideaways in South Tyrol. Framed by views of the Dolomites, contemporary design, and an exceptional private art collection, it creates an atmosphere that is intentionally different – personal, rooted in tradition, and full of unexpected details.

The Romantik® Hotel Turm | PEARLS by Romantik® is defined by contrasts that do not compete but complement each other: historic stone walls meet contemporary design, art meets alpine landscape, and quiet retreat blends with culinary diversity. The rooms and suites are individually designed – no two are alike. Some are located within the medieval towers, others in the main building or adjacent houses. What they all share are views of the surrounding mountain scenery and a sense of space that deliberately avoids standardisation.

Culinarily, the hotel ranks among South Tyrol’s leading addresses. Its award-winning cuisine combines regional ingredients with a precise, creative signature. The experience is further enhanced by the in-house wine cellar and the estate’s own vineyard at Grottnerhof.

The wellness area runs like a red thread through the property and its surroundings: indoor and outdoor pools, atmospheric sauna worlds, a salt grotto, hay baths, and a panoramic garden pool create diverse levels of relaxation. A defining feature is the strong connection to nature – with views of the Schlern, the Dolomites, and the hotel’s gardens.

Activity also plays an important role here: hiking, climbing on the hotel’s own rock face, cycling, or skiing in the nearby Seiser Alm make the hotel an ideal starting point for all seasons.

Wellness at the Romantik® Hotel Turm is multi-layered, exclusive, yet intentionally unconventional. Set between historic walls, garden landscapes, and views of the Dolomites, it unfolds a world of water and saunas that combines different atmospheres: indoor and outdoor pools, a garden whirlpool, a salt grotto, hay baths, and creative relaxation spaces create varied levels of recovery. Architecture plays a key role – some areas feel almost mystical, while others open wide to nature. This creates an interplay of retreat, warmth, and openness, always with a direct connection to the mountain landscape around the Schlern.

Beauty

The hotel’s beauty world focuses on individual care and natural regeneration. Classic cosmetic treatments, facial therapies, body treatments, and massages form the foundation of the offer. These are complemented by special rituals designed to promote relaxation and balance. Rather than standardised treatments, the focus is on a personalised approach centred on calm, effectiveness, and overall well-being.

Modern equipment allows for individual training in strength, endurance, and mobility. The offer is complemented by stretching and movement areas that are intentionally focused on balance and body awareness – as a natural complement to the more intense outdoor experiences in nature.
