The Hotel Deimann | PEARLS by Romantik® is a family-run 5-star superior wellness hotel in the Sauerland region and the only property of this category in the area. It combines long-standing tradition with modern luxury hospitality and is set amidst the natural landscape of the Schmallenberg Sauerland. In addition to a 5,000 m² wellness area with a new adults-only spa, guests can enjoy excellent Michelin-starred cuisine in the gourmet restaurant.
The Hotel Deimann | PEARLS by Romantik® is a historically grown manor house that has developed over four generations into one of Germany’s leading wellness and holiday hotels. Today, the property offers around 114 rooms and suites as well as a spacious resort area with parkland, activity zones, and multiple buildings.
At its heart lies a spa and wellness area of over 5,000 m², featuring indoor and outdoor pools, eleven saunas, natural bathing ponds, and generous relaxation zones, including an adults-only area with an infinity pool and panoramic saunas.
Culinarily, the hotel offers several restaurants, including the Michelin-starred Hofstube Deimann, complemented by additional dining venues such as the Waldhütte and the Golf Café. The house sees itself as a destination for relaxation, active holidays, and indulgence alike—catering to wellness guests, golfers, families, and nature travelers.

Location and Directions
Our wellness hotel is located
The hotel is located in Schmallenberg in the Hochsauerland region of North Rhine-Westphalia, nestled among forests, meadows, and the low mountain landscape of the Sauerland, and directly next to the Schmallenberg Golf Club.
Arrival with car
From the north and northwest:
Take the A46 motorway to the Meschede exit. From there, continue on the B55 and then the B511 via Bad Fredeburg to Schmallenberg. In Schmallenberg, take the B236 through Gleidorf towards Winterberg and continue to the Winkhausen district.
From the south and southwest:
Use the A4 or A45 motorways to the Olpe-Süd exit and follow the B55 towards Lennestadt. From there, continue via Lennestadt and then take the B236 directly to Schmallenberg-Winkhausen.
From the east:
Travel via the A4, A5, or A7 motorways to Kassel and change there to the A44 towards Dortmund. Leave the motorway at the Zierenberg exit and follow the B251 towards Korbach to Brilon. Continue via Olsberg and Winterberg (B480) to Schmallenberg.
Arrival with train
The nearest train stations are located in Winterberg, Lennestadt, and Meschede. The closest ICE (high-speed rail) station is Hagen. Upon request, we offer a shuttle service from the station to your accommodation (for a fee).
Arrival with plane
For your journey by air, the most suitable airports are Paderborn/Lippstadt and Dortmund. We are happy to arrange a comfortable shuttle service from the airport to the hotel for you (for a fee).
