Nestled in the lush Ammerland region, with its own private bathing beach and a beach wagon sauna right by the lake, a wide range of wellness offerings, refined cuisine, as well as its own putting green and casino: the traditional Romantik® Hotel Jagdhaus Eiden am See in Bad Zwischenahn is a small cosmos of great indulgence. Five saunas, swimming pools, brine baths, an outdoor whirlpool, massages, and beauty treatments provide pure relaxation and rejuvenation.
Not a typical hotel atmosphere, but a place that feels like home—shaped over generations and nestled within an expansive park directly on the shores of the Zwischenahner Meer. Surrounded by mature trees, water views, and plenty of space to breathe, an ensemble of rooms, spa, and natural access points unfolds—intentionally quiet, never intrusive. A private bathing beach by the lake, a sauna set in a converted beach wagon right on the shore, and a putting green in the park create small yet distinctive accents between activity and relaxation.

Culinary offerings range from regionally inspired cuisine to refined gourmet concepts. TERROIR and Petit TERROIR focus on honest craftsmanship, high-quality ingredients, and modern interpretation, while the Eiden Restaurant highlights Northern German classics, fish from the Zwischenahner Meer, and seasonal dishes.
The connection to its own origins is particularly tangible: the former farm remains agriculturally rooted to this day. A vegetable and herb garden, free-range chickens, a participatory potato field, and even its own vineyard reflect a cuisine that stays very close to its ingredients—reduced to what truly defines quality.
This is complemented by exclusive retreat experiences such as a private spa, wellness suites, or sauna rituals by the water—always with a focus on meaningful, unhurried time.

Bad Zwischenahn reveals its quieter side here: water, parks, and wide-open paths. The hotel is located directly on the lake, slightly set back in the greenery, while the town itself and the surrounding Ammerland region with its characteristic landscapes remain quickly accessible.
Arrival with car
You can easily reach the Romantik® Hotel Jagdhaus Eiden am See by car via the A28 motorway. Take the Neuenkruge exit and follow the signs toward Bad Zwischenahn. From there, the hotel is clearly signposted. After just a few minutes’ drive through the Ammerland countryside, you will arrive directly at the hotel by the Zwischenahner Meer. Parking is available on site. For further details, simply enter the address into your navigation system.
Arrival with train
Oldenburg is connected to the ICE high-speed rail network. From there, you can conveniently take an Intercity train to Bad Zwischenahn station, which is only about 3 km from the Romantik® Hotel Jagdhaus Eiden am See. Around 50 trains stop here daily. Upon request, we will be happy to send you a suitable timetable for your journey along with your reservation confirmation. From the station, the hotel offers a shuttle service.
