What is chakra meditation?
There are hundreds of chakras in our bodies, representing energy centres. The seven most important chakras can be identified along the spine. It is said that chakras influence our organ function, our circulation, our hormones as well as our thoughts and emotions. Every chakra has its own colour, element and symbol. Sometimes our chakras might be blocked or imbalanced, which is said to cause mental and physical imbalance. Thus, we can train and balance our chakras, unblocking them with special exercises. Those consist of breathing, relaxation and physical activities as well as of colour visualisation.
