Wellness dictionary

Little ABC for your spa-break questions ...

In their treatment discriptions, wellness hotels often use technical terms, which are hard to understand for potential guests. We have therefore collected and defined the most relevant terms in our small wellness ABC. A tip: Our wellness dictionary also supports word requests. You don't need to know the exact wording.

Soft Pack System

What is a softpack couch?

The Softpack Lounger is similar to a waterbed, but here your body "sinks or floats" during the 45 minutes of use. This creates a feeling of floating (hence the name floating lounger).

First, a care product is applied to your body - depending on the type of application - e.g. pure milk, oil, algae ...  and then you are wrapped in a foil fleece. Afterwards, you will "float" in a waterbed for about 25 minutes. The gentle water pressure and the slight warming of the body support the active ingredients of the care product.

A "dilution" of the care substances with water as in the bathtub does not take place in the softpack lounger. On the contrary, the combination of film, product and pressure increases the skin's absorption capacity by 60%. The muscles relax, the spine is relieved, the warmth of the water (approx. 37° C) and the perfect positioning of the body promise relaxation.
