What is special about a bathing cure?
For thousands of years people have been using the healing powers of the natural elements: Bathing cures are one of the pillars of natural medicine. Under certain conditions, they can be applied for as outpatient preventive services from the health insurance company. Bathing cures can be carried out at the sea (Thalasso cure) or in spas with thermal springs or in places with special climatic conditions. Bathing cures can be used not only for acute or chronic health problems (e.g. stress and spinal problems), but also in a preventive form.
Every season has its advantages: Spring and autumn are well suited for respiratory problems, summer offers invigorating relaxation with sunshine and exercise in the fresh air, winter embodies tranquility with hardening walks. Health resorts are located only in specially selected, health-promoting areas. During a cure, especially local remedies are used, which are naturally available in the region.
